Sarah Jeanne College, soprano

Soprano, Sarah College currently resides in the Pittsburgh, PA area. She holds a Master of Music degree in Music Performance from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Baldwin-Wallace College (now University) Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio.Ms. College has performed a number of operatic and musical theater roles, including Celie in Pasatieri's Signor Deluso, Nella in Gianni Schicchi, La Fée (Cendrillon), Patience (Patience), and Carolina (Il Matrimonio Segreto) while attending Colorado State University's Ralph Opera Center. Other opera engagements include Penny (Fantastic Mr. Fox) with Microscopic Opera, Eurydice (Orpheus in the Underworld) with Baldwin-Wallace University, and Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Undercroft Opera. She has also performed the role of Lily in The Secret Garden.

Ms. College has also performed a number of recitals and concerts including the title role in James Whitbourn's Annelies with the Estes Chamber Ensemble. She has attended Orvieto Musica and the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival.  As a lover of art song, Ms. College enjoys programming recitals of unique and often unexplored art song/ repertoire. She is currently in the process of planning a recital to be performed in the coming months.
